Yes, this Cinnamon Toast crunch recipe has oats in it. Which makes it a filling option for breakfast. But that’s not all. This recipe is packed with flavors and additional nutrients all at the same time.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled or instant oats

  • 2 bananas, cut into smaller pieces and frozen

  • 1/4 cup cashew nuts

  • 1 cup almond milk or regular milk

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • For Toping
  • 1/4 cup Greek Yogurt

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal

  • Equipment
  • A powerful blender. (preferably NutriBullet or Ninja)

  • Measuring scale / measuring spoons/measuring cups

  • A bowl

  • A whisk

  • 2 Serving glasses

Directions

  • Begin by grinding the oats until finely powdered. You can use the blender to do this, or a separate grinder.
  • Next, add all the ingredients of the base in the blender – grinded oats, cinnamon, cashews, bananas, and milk – and grind until it all turns smooth.
  • In case the mixture is too thick for your liking, add some more milk and blend until it reaches the desired consistency.
  • The smoothie base is now ready.
  • For Topping
  • In a bowl, add yogurt and vanilla extract and whisk until smooth and fluffy.
  • In a separate bowl, coarsely crush the Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal and keep it aside.
  • Assembling
  • In two tall glasses, pour the smoothie base equally, leaving about two inches from the rim.
  • Next, spoon a dollop of whisked yogurt and add to the glass filling it generously up to the brim.
  • Top with coarsely crushed cereal and your Oats and Cinnamon Toast Crunch Smoothie is ready to be served.
